spring concert

Brooks did such a great job at his spring concert this year.  He just seems to love music like his brothers!
Daniel's whole class did such a great job and everyone had such fun personalities while singing.  So cute!  I can't believe this his is last preschool concert.

Happy Easter - He is Risen!

We had such a wonderful Easter weekend in Waco. We had time with our cousins, played outside, rode horses, hunted easter eggs, and ate lots of great food!
The crazy fun shot before the easter egg hunt
A rare picture of Nathan and I
Brooks loved cracking some confetti eggs on his daddy's head
Nathan bright and early ready to get a few eggs - he looks so big!
We went to Ridgewood for their Easter festivities. The boys basically held the little chicks the entire time!

Brooks examining his little chick before he almost squeezed it to death. I think I said "gentle" about 1000 times in a 30 minute period
Family shot!
Brooks was definitely not too sure about this easter bunny. You can see the skeptical look on his face.

Daniel playing teeball

He loves it so far and is just so happy after practices and games. I am glad Daniel is enjoying it!

Precious Sleeping Habits

Every night Brooks crawls in bed with Nathan, after we have laid with them, and they fall asleep very quickly. So precious!

Nathan is Seven - Happy Birthday

Nathan is officially seven and I truly can't believe it! He is really starting to grow up in so many ways and we are really proud of him. He is definitely fun-loving and spirited, but also very hard working at school. He adores Brooks and deep down he loves Daniel and wouldn't know what to do without him. We are so lucky to be his parents!
These two are really so great together and I think are going to become even better friends in the next few years.
Buddy holding Brooks at the birthday party - Brooks pretty much just watched and ate.
Daniel taking a break from the rink.
Our sweet nieces Codi and Cara - Nathan would never think of having a birthday without them!
Jackson and Nathan talking and skating
Nathan blowing out his candles - the cookie cake was a hit!
Birdie, Buddy, and Nathan after the party.
We were pretending Nathan was a baby and cuddling him - he was not so thrilled about it!

Christmas Adventures

Well, we had lots of fun and activity this season...and I barely captured any of it in pictures. Hopefully, my mind will remember. We actually had three Christmases...one in Waco, one at home, and one in Atlanta. They were all full of excitement and laughter and we are so lucky to have such wonderful families to celebrate with during the season. We love all of you very much!
Drew, Taylor, Nathan and Lauren - our kids just love all of these fun teenage cousins
Brooks in a rare cuddly moment with Pop Pop
Nathan and Daniel on our Christmas morning at home - random Wednesday before Michael had to leave for work. But the kids loved it!
Brooks really started understanding the opening of presents and what was behind all the paper - he was so happy to open more!
In Waco - Brooks loving his new safari truck
We had a special visit from Santa Claus and Nathan made sure Santa knew that were going to be in Atlanta on Christmas Day. It was so cute!
The four older grandchildren watching Codi play the piano...I hope she inspired my boys to learn.
Before Christmas we took the boys ice skating at Barton Creek. It is so fun out there with hot chocolate and smores. I highly recommend it!

Christmas Spirit

We had a fun "christmas spirit" day getting ready for the holidays! We started by making some festive cookies that the boys promptly ate.

Then, the tree and outdoor lights were put up. Daniel and Brooks crack me up! They pulled up stools and just sat and stared at the tree while eating their apples.
Finally, after baths, dinner and in p.j.'s we decorated the tree and topped it all of with a cup of hot cocoa. Tucker, of course got involved. Hope he doesn't decide the ornaments look like chew toys.
Proud of their finished product!
