Christmas at our house

Nathan and Daniel examining Daniel's new umbrella
Nathan could not open the gifts fast enough!
Daniel on the other hand took his sweet little time and pooped out about halfway through.

I just love the way Daniel sits and crosses his legs to read a book!

Trail of Lights

We had to have a little hot chocolate!
A far away view of the Trail of Lights
You can't tell by their faces, but they did have a good time!
Daniel especially got excited to see Mickey, Minnie, Ariel, and Nemo!

Visit to Santa Claus

We had Buddy and Birdie in town last weekend and went to see Santa Claus.  The boys did great!  And, we had a fun weekend with them!

Waving goodbye to Santa (I put these in Backwards...agh!)
Hugging Santa
Actually happy to be in Santa's Lap!
Nathan is encouraging Daniel that Santa is very nice.
We ARE SO EXCITED to see Santa Claus!!!  WHEN IS CHRISTMAS???  HOW MANY MORE DAYS????

Christmas Decorating Blue Style!

The boys had such a great time putting on ornaments, but I had to show you that most of them went on a choice one or two branches.  Mom had to rearrange a little as we went!
Daniel did such a great job and had fun finding out what everything meant!
I am pretty sure that Nathan is so excited because he thinks Santa Claus comes as soon as you get your tree up.  Trying to explain time frames to a three.5 year old is hard!  He is sooooo excited for Christmas to be here.
Nathan and Daddy attempting to get the star on top.  It's still crooked.
The boys posing in front of the tree, so proud of their work.  In their Christmas P.J.'s  We had some hot chocolate after this which was just as thrilling.  I love this time of year.

Thanksgiving in Atlanta

The Girls showing off their new pajamas...we had a mini Christmas (stockings and gifts from Aunts and Uncles)

We would hate to waste a goldfish, and why not eat like a dog while we're at it??
These are Nathan's new Rudolph slippers that Daniel had to try on too!
These were his favorite gift!
This is Ellie Ruth, the youngest grandchild.  She is 14 months and precious.
Can't get a good picture of all 11 grandkids...everyone moves too much.
Jackson, our 8 yr. old cousin who is halarious...love the shirt!
Our oldest cousin Joshua is so much fun and he loved playing with boy our boys.
Swinging at aunt Karen's house on Thanksgiving day.

We went to the Atlanta Aquarium on Wed. with everyone and had such a great time.  It was a really neat aquarium and the boys loved it.  I really liked it too and wished we would have had more time to explore.

Time in Waco

Birdie took all the grandkids to see Disney on Ice and they loved seeing Mickey!
Nathan and I went on a long walk with Sammy in the woods and he found this tree very interesting...
All bundled up swinging and playing outside!
Nathan is trying to teach Daniel to drive the mustang. Daniel doesn't quite have the natural ability that Nathan did at that age, but it'll come!

On our way to ride the mule...doesn't Nathan have such a happy face?? Just kidding, he really does love it.

CAMERA BROKE

Well,  our boys did have a good halloween...but our digital camera broke, so there are no pictures to post.  And, we took them to a UT football game today (daniel's first) and had no way to document it.  I was so sad.  But, after ice cream, cotton candy, and lots of great football, we headed home in the second quarter.  We are getting something soon, so I'll post pictures soon.
Happy Halloween.

DANIEL IS TWO!

Our neighbors and friends Kevin, Sienna, and Alex
Megan enjoying the tricycle
All the kids had so much fun on riding toys for a lot of the party
Little Bryant is getting so big!
Cousin Codi helping Daniel with the Nemo cake.
Birdie and Daniel are doing bubbles together and having so much fun!
Sweet Cara and Nathan just love to play together so much.
The Big Birthday Boy!
Not so sure about swinging!
He looks like he's done this before.  I can't believe is already 2 years old.  Time has flown but what a precious little boy God gave me.  We love him so much and look forward to watching him continue to grow into a beautiful and sweet little boy.

First Camping Trip

Nathan fishing on Saturday morning...it was in the 50's and a little cool!
So excited to have a place to sleep.
Father and Son's first camping trip.
Throwing some boulders into the lake.  It looked like a beautiful campsite.
Ahh...the real reason Nathan even wanted to go camping.  Smore's!!!!
He's got a sticky, messy face and loving every minute of it!
