Trip to NASA

This is at the end of the day and we were all a little tired but had a great time!
Nathan pretending to be Mission Control and talking to the astronauts
Nathan trying on a space helmet
A simulator for moving things in space...the boys both loved doing this.
Standing in front of one of the shuttles - it was enormous!
Nathan and I posing before getting on the tram ride.

Overall ,we had a great day at NASA. We learned a lot, played a lot, and had some great family time. We got there at 10 a.m. and left at 5 p.m. so it was a full day. The boys did great and really had such energy and interest all day. I'm really glad we did it.

Fishing anyone?

The boys have gotten lots of entertainment casting their fishing poles anywhere from the yard to the pool. Here they are this morning practicing...first clothed. And, of course, then naked...

Trip to Hilton Head

On the way home in the car all day on the fourth, we stopped at a peach orchard for some festivities and fresh peaches. Not quite the 4th celebration we were hoping for, but better than nothing.

The oldest cousin Joshua and Daniel rough housing a little!
This is the only proof that I was on the vacation...seriously
Our little niece Ellie Ruth is so cute and sweet!
We basically swam all the time and the boys had a great time doing it. The other main activity were golf cart rides and looking for alligators, but I of course did not capture any of that on film.

Nathan's attempt to smile for the camera in the bright sun.
The boys had so much fun digging in the sand.

Daniel had a blast trying to stay on the board while Michael pulled him.
Is that a determined look or what!
The Beach was so much fun. The boys just loved the sand, the waves, and all the creatures we found. I could have spent every day at the beach. All in all it was a great vacation and were so glad to have the relaxing week together as a family.
