Dallas Zoo

If only I could go outside. Won't someone please take me to the zoo?

Nathan learns the difference between a sheep and a goat.

Stay! Yeah, that's right, I'm the boss you silly goat.

Dallas Arboretum

I wonder what I will find up here? Daddy sits around and does this all the time, but I am just learning.

Most kid's parents push THEM in the strollers. Aren't there some child labor laws to protect me?

And Nathan breaks into the open field. TOUCHDOWN!

These are just a few pictures from the Dallas Arboretum. Nathan loved the open spaces and running around, but ended up with a runny nose because there were just too many darn flowers.

Number Two

The first picuture of Number Two. Quite a looker if you ask me. What you say, Number Two and a sonogram already! That's right, Melissa is expecting and the baby is due October 9th. I guess the point of this blog has just expanded (like Melissa's belly is sure to do in the next few months). This picture is not at all clear, but if it were you would see a bean with a pea on top of it. But isn't it the best looking bean!

Nathan at CFPN

Nathan ponders life at his grandad's CFPN conference in Dallas, as Chuck Swindoll looks on. We learned that Nathan enjoys to dance in front of large audiences, which kind of worries me.

Nathan's First Birthday

Nathan had quite a fun first birthday party. He had a bunch of his family and friends come over to his house for the celebration. He was not the biggest fan of his cake, but he did enjoy the ice cream he had later that night. It was such a fun weekend and wish that all of our family and friends could have been with us. Below are some pictures from the weekend.

Nathan and his new red wagon and posing!

Bring on the cake!
"Let's try some of this cake stuff."

"I am not too sure about this icing, it is all in my hair and all over my hands. Get it off please."
"Okay, I have had enough of all of you staring at me. Get me out of this chair NOW!"

NATIONAL CHAMPS!!

Nathan practicing a move he learned by watching the Rose Bowl. That walker is still trying to figure out how he got away.

How about them Longhorns!! What a game last night as the Horns came up with a small miracle over the Trojans. I would like to give a special thanks to the replay booth who did their part in securing this victory. Texas Fight!!
